1959 Le Mans - Limited Edition Motorsport Print

At 4pm on the 21st June 1959, the Aston Martin DBR1 of Roy Salvadori and Carroll Shelby crossed the finishing line to take victory at Le Mans, heading a 1-2 finish for the British team after 24 hours of racing.

Graham Turner's painting shows Roy Salvadori in the winning car, leading the Phil Hill/Olivier Gendebien Ferrari Testa Rossa at Tertre Rouge corner on Sunday morning. To commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Aston Martin's famous victory, this evocative painting has been published as a Limited Edition Giclée print, LIMITED TO 100 COPIES ONLY, the first 20 of which are reproduced on canvas just like the original oil painting.

Print numbers 1-20 are individually reproduced on canvas, stretched on wooden stretcher bars just like the original oil painting.

Overall canvas size 27"x 20" (69cm x 50cm)

Note that canvas prints have no white border - this is the overall size of the canvas on its wooden stretcher bars and the image extends to the edge.

Each canvas is individually signed and numbered (on the reverse, as there is no border) by the artist, Graham Turner.

PLEASE NOTE - POST & PACKING CHARGES FOR CANVAS PRINTS

Because of their size, weight, and the fact they have to be sent packed flat, the cost of shipping canvas prints is considerably more than the paper prints and cards which our usual postal rates are based around. Although we have absorbed some of this additional cost, we do need to charge post and packing at a higher rate for canvas prints than for other products, and this is as follows:

U.K. - £15, Europe - £25, Rest of the World - £40

Canvas prints are carefully packed and despatched insured by courier (UPS or DHL).
