1959 LE MANS

At 4pm on the 21st June 1959, the Aston Martin DBR1 of Roy Salvadori and Carroll Shelby crossed the finishing line to take victory at Le Mans, heading a 1-2 finish for the British team after 24 hours of racing. Graham Turner's latest painting shows Roy Salvadori in the winning car, leading the Phil Hill/Olivier Gendebien Ferrari Testa Rossa at Tertre Rouge corner on Sunday morning.

To commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Aston Martin's famous victory, this evocative painting has been published as a Limited Edition Giclée Print, LIMITED TO 100 COPIES ONLY, numbers 1-20 being reproduced on canvas just like the original.
