THE SWORD OF HONOUR TOURNAMENT 2009

The Sword of Honour Tournament was held in the tiltyard at the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds over the Easter weekend in April 2009. Fought out between teams of four jousters, Graham was part of the Destrier team, alongside captain Stacy Evans, Will West, and fellow Armouries debutant, Jason Kingsley.

The competition was very hard fought and close, with the outcome of every pass critical. Destrier managed to defeat the Royal Armouries team in the semi final and were tantalisingly close to outright victory in the final, eventually conceding the title to the Order of the Crescent team by only three points.
