The Marquis of Newcastle's 'Whitecoat' regiment stands firm as Parliamentarian cavalry press home their attack during the battle of Marston Moor on the 2nd July 1644. Their stand to the last man has gone down in history, the regiments final destruction bringing the battle to an end.
