HMS Ithuriel Rams the Cobalto, 12 August 1942 Ref: GT-394A

Following an attack by depth charges, the destroyer HMS Ithuriel steams towards the damaged Italian submarine Cobalto, now forced to the surface, to ram and sink her.

Torpedoing the Manchester, 13th August 1942 Ref: GT-394C

The light cruiser HMS Manchester is hit by a torpedo launched by an Italian motor torpedo boat, seen here turning away to head back into the darkness as Manchester fires her forward 6in. guns towards the attacking boats. The badly damaged Manchester would later be abandoned and scuttled.
