As dawn breaks over Normandy on the 6th June 1944, a low flying RAF Douglas Boston defies hostile fire to lay a protective smoke screen over the first wave of British troops approaching the invasion beaches.

LIMITED EDITION OF 500 PRINTS.

Each print is individually signed and numbered by the artist and countersigned by Flt. Lt. LESLIE VALENTINE, pilot of the aircraft depicted, and Flt. Lt. JOHN MACKENZIE, who flew as navigator on the operation.
