Battle of Britain - Aviation Art by Michael TurnerBattle of Britain - Aviation Art by Michael Turner
Seventy years ago, in the summer of 1940, with Germany's victorious armies poised to conquer all of Europe, the Royal Air Force defended Britain from concerted attack by the Lufwaffe, successfully fending off the threat of invasion and helping to turn the tide of the Second World War.

Michael Turner, President of the Guild of Aviation Artists, has painted many scenes from this conflict over his long career, and below you will find a selection of prints, cards and a jigsaw puzzle, reproduced from some of these paintings, that can be ordered through Studio 88.
